Title: Justice Falling, Falling Series Book 3
Author: Audrey Carlan
Genre: Adult Contemporary Romance (Erotic)

Sweet and naïve in the ways of the world, Camille “Cami” Johnston has done whatever it takes to survive in New York City. Unbroken by her tumultuous past, she is pursuing a stable and secure future that doesn’t include worrying about where the rent money will come from. Little does she know, a full-time position at Jensen Construction will do more than pay the bills, it will bring her everything she ever dreamed of having, but didn’t believe she was worthy of.

Known ladies’ man, Nathaniel “Nate” Walker, has never had a problem securing a date. As a widely successful lawyer and business owner, he knows exactly how to get what he wants, when he wants it, in and out of the courtroom… until he meets Camille Johnston.

Nate’s overly confident, alpha male tendencies toward Cami have her thoughts and emotions in a jumble of uncertainty and lust. But once the sparks fly between the cheeky lawyer and his precious Camille, the resounding flames are unstoppable.

As the couple try to find their way toward a future they both yearn for, secrets from Camille’s past and present start piling up into a vortex of half-truths and lies of omission. Now the instant connection that brought Nate and Cami together is held together by a tenuous thread.

With a little help from their friends, Camille and Nate’s steamy, romantic, breathless journey finishes off the third installment of The Falling Series.

Each book in the Falling Series can be read as a standalone but are better when read together. All three books are intended for readers 18+ due to language and graphic sexual content.

Review for Ugly Love by Colleen Hoover

synopsis:
When Tate Collins meets airline pilot Miles Archer, she knows it isn’t love at first sight. They wouldn’t even go so far as to consider themselves friends. The only thing Tate and Miles have in common is an undeniable mutual attraction. Once their desires are out in the open, they realize they have the perfect set-up. He doesn’t want love, she doesn’t have time for love, so that just leaves the sex. Their arrangement could be surprisingly seamless, as long as Tate can stick to the only two rules Miles has for her.

Never ask about the past.
Don’t expect a future.

They think they can handle it, but realize almost immediately they can’t handle it at all.

Hearts get infiltrated.
Promises get broken.
Rules get shattered.
Love gets ugly

Review:
5 Plus Stars

This book blew me away.
Reading this book had my heart shattering into a millions pieces. Once it pulls you in, you've had it, it's impossible to put down. The book is in both perceptive's, Tate's in the present and Mile's in the past. You fall in love with the characters and can feel their pain, happiness and eventually love.

Tate moves into her brother Corbin's apartment to be close to school and work, on arriving at the apartment she finds someone passed out drunk leaning against the door which she later finds out is miles.

Never ask about the past
Don't expect a future

Mile's is letting his past consume him, he's blaming himself for something that was an accident. Miles don't like to feel and certainly does not want to love. So when he starts getting feelings for Tate he's tries everything in his power to stop them which results in breaking Tate's heart. Does Miles give himself a chance to finally move on?

This is an Amazing read!!

Blog Tour - The Break-In by Aidee Ladnier

Breakin[The]LG
The Break-in by Aidee Ladnier Busted Labs: Book Two

Synopsis
Ten years ago, roboticist Forbes Pohle received a visit from time-traveler Oliver Lennox. “Wait for me,” Oliver said. Now a decade has come and gone, and Oliver has returned. However, Forbes never dreamed Oliver would reappear as the point man for a gang of technology thieves breaking into his lab. He finds the younger Oliver just as sexy and even more annoying; still, he must convince him their happily-ever-after is meant to be—but he only has the time it takes his robotic cat Jeepers to thwart the thieves to do it. After waiting so long, he could lose everything in the span of seconds. The Break-In is a stand alone HEA.

worth excerpt (1)

5 Quirky Things About Aidee
by Aidee Ladnier
I write about quirky characters because that’s what I know. I’m a pretty quirky individual myself. Here are a few things you might not know about me.
I've designed my own shoes
literaryshoes
I really, really like shoes--not high heels—flats. A friend made the mistake of telling me about a company that lets you design your own shoes. Sure enough, they had lots of heels and one template for flats. I immediately started tinkering and then ordered my author shoes. Here they are! Words are so pretty, aren’t they?
I’ve sent a ping pong ball into space.
pingpong
JP Aerospace, a volunteer DIY space program was raising funds to send ping pong ball sized science projects by elementary school children up to the edge of space in 2012. As a lover of all things science and science fiction, I gave money to the cause. In thanks, they let me put a ping pong ball in with those of the children. I ran my own ping pong ball sized experiment and got the thrill of seeing the video that included my experiment coasting in space among the stars. Here’s a picture of my ping pong ball before it went up to space. Which leads to my next quirky fact…
I fold so many origami cranes that I use them as packing material when I mail boxes
It all started when my computer began running slow at work. I would have to reboot often and I found I could make two origami cranes in the time it took my computer to restart. Then I began folding cranes in meetings to keep my hands busy so my brain could stay engaged (think of it like doodling with folded paper). Now it’s a crutch. Whenever I’m stressed, I fold a bird.
Whenever I’m worried, another crane appears. I have to say, my Christmas gifts to my family are enjoyed as much for the crane packing material as they are for the gifts.
One of my poems inspired an indie pop song by the band Correatown
As a thank you for supporting her album on Kickstarter, Angela Correa offered to write a song for me. She asked what I’d like to provide as inspiration and I gave her a love poem that I wrote for my husband. The song that resulted was beautiful and I gave it to him as an anniversary gift that year. If you’d like to hear Distillery by Correatown, you can do so by going here: http://aideemoi.tumblr.com/post/26007891265/you-know-several-years-ago-i-was-divorced-over-a
socksI have an extensive collection of silly socks
There’s really no excuse for the socks I own. They are all colors of the rainbow, some have animals on them, some have strange shapes, all are fun. It’s wonderful to wake up not sure you’re ready to face the day and then put on some goofy socks. It changes everything around.
Of course there are other quirky things about me that didn’t make it into this list--several of them are listed in my bio, in fact. I’m of the opinion that adventures are everywhere. You just have to recognize them. So may the quirk be with you and remember, have fun today.

The Forbes and Oliver Playlist for The Break-in
I have to admit when I’m looking for songs to fill a playlist for a story, they have to meet one of two criteria:
The lyrics have to match what a character is feeling
The song has to capture the mood of a scene
That said, here are the songs I chose for this story and why. If you’re interested, I created the playlist on YouTube so you can listen to the whole set here: http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLaf-IXveR9pUKgijDcluQcrnjwxiYpGz2
Moving On by Needtobreathe
I think this song captures Forbes at the start of the story. He’s waiting for his lover to reappear when their stars align but is contemplating moving on. It encompasses that kind of sad but inevitable feeling that you might be waiting for nothing.
Mission Impossible Theme
Okay, I know this is a pretty cheesy pick, but I am dead certain that Wilson, the self-appointed leader of the technology thieves, insisted that this music be played in the van on the way over to Forbes’s lab. Oliver was lucky he drove his own motorcycle to the scene, because they would have come to blows over the endless repetition of this song.
99 Problems by Hugo
I know the Jay-z version is more famous, but I love the almost folky sound of this song. This is Oliver’s song as things start to go south. He’s suddenly on the wrong side of both Forbes and the gang of thieves he’s working for.
Take On Me by A-ha
Shameless 80s guilty pleasure music. THE BREAK-IN is set in the near future, so I’m going to say Forbes has it in his music library because his parents listened to it.
Ruler of My Heart by Irma Thomas
I love the soulful sound of Irma Thomas. This is definitely a Forbes song. He’s waited so long for his lover to return and when he does, it’s not at all in the way he expects.
Jeepers Creepers by Frank Sinatra
I had to include this song. It’s Jeepers’s song! The little cat robot embodies this quirky little ditty. He probably plays it in the house whenever Forbes leaves—which could explain why he was so grumpy that Forbes blew off the blind date at the beginning of the story.
Do It Alone by Sugarcult
Forbes would understand this song. He doesn’t want to be alone anymore. He’s willing to beg Oliver to stay.
With you by Natalie Walker
The lyric “Love takes time and time is on our side” is perfect for THE BREAK-IN. Forbes definitely found his life changed by Oliver and as a result his love didn’t fade despite time and circumstance. It’s a sappy song but those are okay sometimes.
Life Less Ordinary by Carbon Leaf
This song embodies Forbes and Oliver’s relationship. They are somehow a lot less ordinary together and together they will have an extraordinary life.
Little Wonders by Rob Thomas
This song is for the end of the story. The hardest part is over for both Forbes and Oliver. The twist and turns of fate have left them exhausted and time has fallen away. It’s definitely the heart that really matters in the end.
All Will Be Well by Gabe Dixon
This song is my song. As the author, I want to tell my characters that all will be well but only time will tell. There are a few more Forbes and Oliver stories to come.

tag19 *This excerpt is unedited and subject to change. “You stay here,” I instruct Sarge. He simply nods and leans back on his bike.
I go to the front of the house and take the four creaky steps that lead to the front door.
I knock twice and step to the side of the heavy wooden entry that’s been covered by a sheer flimsy security door.
The big solid wood creaks open, and the first thing I see is a double-barrel pointing at my face.
My heart instantly reacts and picks up pace as it starts thumping so hard I can hear it in my ears, just pounding a strong rhythmic unyielding beat.
The hair on the back of my neck stands to attention with an alluring anticipation and excitement.
My blood hastily boils and pumps hard touching every nerve ending in my body.
My throat completely dries and it becomes difficult to swallow the huge lump sitting at the base.
Not because I’m staring down a double-barrel.
Not from sheer terror of the possibility of death.
Not for any logical reason.
My body reacts because I’m fucking turned on.
It’s her.
Red.
20140703-111739-40659135.jpgtag15I don't do 'normal'. I've found that the more I write, the more I like being different to other authors. I write in first person, and I love to challenge a reader. I take the normal and switch it around. For me, I really enjoy getting a reaction from a reader. So if I can evoke an emotion (regardless of if it's the emotion the reader wants) then I figure that I've done my job as an author I want to be. I really quite revel in taking people out of their comfort zones and pushing them to read something different. My genre of writing is, well quite frankly, where ever my mind goes. I won't label myself because I don't like sticking to one genre. My goal with writing is just to take people away from whatever is going on in their lives, even if it's only for a split second. I'm a go with the flow sort of person and don't really take a course of action to get where I am going. I live in the moment and don't usually worry about tomorrow because whatever life is due to bring me, I'll be happy to accept. I love my family and friends and will help anyway I can if someone needs it. I really don't like people that are nasty just because they can be, I don't believe that's necessary, I mean life's hard enough as it is! I hope you enjoy my books, I've had a hoot writing them. There's more to come..... Til next time. M xx

Synopsis
Fast. That’s how I like life, especially my two great joys: bikes and women. I’m committed to exclusively riding one, but not the other. Until April. A sexy-arse freelance photographer who’s travelled the world, and doesn’t do long walks on the beach or romantic candlelit dinners. She enjoys running with the bulls and food spicy enough to make your hair fall out. If that weren’t enough to get me hard, she rides a mean mother of a motorcycle. I’ve gotta have a taste of this wildcat. ~Spencer (Jones) I don’t do fast. Not anymore. I’ve got my career, my independence, and since I fled Spain to come back home I promised myself that I wouldn’t be put second—or third, for that matter—again. Then I meet pretty boy Spencer. He’s smooth, oozing the most potent pheromones probably known to modern science, and he’s making a move on me. One kiss was almost enough for my promise to dissolve. My head says no—my treacherous body screams yes. I’m gonna make Spencer work for it. Make him fight for the chance to have me, because I know that deep down I’m worth it. ~April MacIntyre   *The book can be read as a stand-alone, but it is best to read after the first two in the series, as the main characters in Spark and Spike continue to appear in each book in the series.*

Tour: The Rebound List by Hedonist Six
Add to Goodreads.

Synopsis: After nearly four years with Jeff, everything fell apart. I found myself single, scared, but somehow liberated as well. Rather than stumble into another ill advised relationship, my best friend Sally helped me find focus. I would spend the next few months “finding myself” sexually. That’s how The Rebound List was born. My journey begins with the first item on my list - a virgin. But it's not easy to go from squeaky-clean committed girlfriend to wanton sex goddess. Hopefully I'll have the guts to follow through! What (or whom) would you do to celebrate your freedom after your first serious relationship breaks down?

Review:
4 STARS

Becky finish's with her boyfriend after being together for four years. She vowed she was going to find herself sexually before jumping into another relationship and that's how the rebound list was born.

1 Sleep with a male virgin.
2 Silverfox
3 A stranger
4 Threesome

Becky joins FetLife and comes across a profile, that's she takes a liking too after exchanging messages they decide to meet up. Does she get to finish her list or does the said male knock her off her feet?

This is a fast and enjoyable read but really wanted it to be a bit longer. You can relate to the characters in this book and I love Alex.

Excerpt:
Some additions were clear choices I had thought about for a long time: hooking up with a virgin and an older guy for example. Other details came to mind after drunkenly bouncing ideas off of each other. These usually started with the phrase ‘wouldn’t it be awesome if...’
In the cold light of day, some of the excitement still lingered, however I had also lost a little confidence and started to doubt whether I could pull this off. Indeed Jeff was only the second guy I had slept with, and I’d be lying if I said that baring all in front of various men wasn’t at least a bit unnerving.
But I would cross that bridge in time, so I set about executing the initial stages of the plan. Sally had shown me a site she had used to hook up before, like a social network for dirty minds. To avoid any risk of early commitment issues, my backstory was decided to be that of a bored wife, looking for fun on the side.
I set up my profile with a suitably disguised photo, sparse personal details mentioning my supposed marriage and a well filled list of sexual interests and kinks. The opening line was simply my newly adopted motto: No commitment, only pleasure.
About the Author: Hedonist Six is an author of Erotic Romance based in London. Nobody’s perfect, neither are her characters, which makes them all the more relatable and well-liked by her fans. Reviewers have described her debut novel Just Another Day at the Office as heart-felt and unique within the genre.

You think you know me…. You think you know whom I am…so lets get a few things straight…. I didn’t get involved in relationships. Relationships are for the weak, plus it’s leverage for your enemy’s and I have plenty.

But that’s all changed. When a strong willed woman, with the mouth of a sailor walked into my life, wearing tiny shorts, which displayed her beautiful long legs and round ass. I thought I could play with her and maybe get my fix. But when she spoke I knew that wasn’t going to happen. She is full of life and one scary ass little woman. I knew right away I had to have her and would do anything to keep her.

She owns my soul; she owns my demons, every part of me is owned by her.

His gorgeous eyes had soothed her hurt after she’d been dumped off at the orphanage where Lucien lived. Darcy felt his jagged edges fit perfectly into her own, and she’d planned to spend the rest of her life with him—until a mysterious man warned her away. Now, fourteen years later, she’s ready to endure the torture of Lucien’s indifference and having him as her boss…just to be near him. EXCERPT

Lucien watched as Darcy struggled to get the printer working. Even from his distance he could hear the cursing, which made him smile. It had been a week since their relationship had taken a very pleasant turn. She was still just as feisty as he remembered and it wasn’t hard for him to recall why he had fallen for her in the first place. Their sparring was verbal foreplay and he fucking craved it. His eyes moved over her. Her body was nothing like the one he had known, with curves that his hands itched to touch. Her hair was up, though he preferred it down, and tendrils were falling out of the twist. He remembered vividly the sight of it spread out over his pillow.

He had to admit that she was still just as interesting to him as she had been at fourteen. Despite everything, she was still his Darcy—sweet, witty, and guileless, except at the moment. She looked about ready to torch the printer, so he moved to help her. As he approached, she was actually staring into the paper tray, yelling at the creatures that lived inside it.

He chuckled, which must have taken her by surprise, because she leaped backward and landed on his foot.

“Fuck!” he cursed.

“Sorry.”

He looked down at her strappy sandals with heels high enough to stake a vampire and had a vision of those legs draped over his shoulders. Instantly, he was hard.

“I was going to offer to help you. The printer can be temperamental, but now I’m bleeding out from a stab wound.”

She didn’t miss a beat. “It probably didn’t even break the skin. What is it you guys say? Rub some dirt into it.”

He eyed her shoes. “Those things should be listed as lethal weapons.”

“Hardly. There are far cheaper ways to kill someone.” She bent to stare into the printer again and Lucien took the opportunity to check out the curve of her ass in the little black skirt she wore.

“Stop checking out my ass and help me.”

Not at all repentant for getting caught staring, he replied easily, “It’s a paper jam.”

He thought he was being helpful and when she straightened slowly, he entertained the notion that she was struggling with the need to throw herself into his arms in gratitude.

One look at her face, though, and he knew he wasn’t going to be copping a feel.

“Your powers of deduction are astounding. Seriously, you should give a seminar on mastering the obvious.”

He tried not to laugh, but he lost that battle. And she responded by flaying a layer of skin off him with her sharp tongue.

“I know it’s a paper jam, Sherlock, I just can’t find it.”

“It’s usually in the back,” Lucien said as he reached for the back of the printer, his arm brushing up against her on purpose. Darcy’s inhaled breath in response had his balls tightening. He dislodged the paper and pulled it free.

He turned to her with a smug smile, which she returned with uncanny accuracy before she said, “Thanks. I almost lost my cool.”

“Almost?”

A slight smile touched her lips. “I should go restart my print job.”

“Probably, unless you can get the little men in the printer to do it.”

Brownies.”

“What?”

She laughed. “Not the baked goods, the little mischievous mystical creatures.”

“They live in my printer?”

“Maybe.” She started away, but stopped and turned to him.“Thanks.”

“Have dinner with me tonight.”

She eyed him through her lashes before she said, “You’re on.”

And then she turned and disappeared into her office.
